Ceremonial Hand Poke Mentorship
This six-month private 1:1 apprenticeship is far more than learning how to tattoo. It is a sacred rite of passage into the world of ceremonial handpoke tattooing — a journey of devotion to craft, artistry, symbolism, ritual, and service.
Designed for those who feel called to work with tattooing as a transformational practice, this apprenticeship weaves together technical skill, intuitive design, ceremonial space holding, and ethical business foundations.
Throughout six months, you will be guided through five elemental pillars, each building upon the last, supporting your emergence as a confident and embodied ceremonial tattoo practitioner.
Your Apprenticeship Includes
- 3 x Full Weekend In-Person Immersion Retreats on the land at Rowan Grove
- Boutique bell tent accommodation included for each immersion
- Fortnightly 90-minute 1:1 online mentoring sessions (12 sessions)

- Voice note and email support throughout the apprenticeship

The in-person immersions allow us to work deeply together in sacred space, combining practical tattoo tuition with ritual, reflection, embodiment, and hands-on practice. Accommodation is included within the boutique bell tent beneath canvas on the land, creating space for integration, rest, and connection to nature throughout your journey.

This pillar is devoted to discovering and refining your artistic voice. Rather than copying another artist's style, you will be guided to uncover the visual language that wants to emerge through you.

- Drawing practices and design development
- Translating intuitive visions into tattoo designs
- Composition, placement and body mapping
- Working creatively with client stories and intentions

Embodying the Practice
Water teaches flow, patience and repetition.
This pillar is dedicated to developing confidence in the practical skill of handpoke tattooing through consistent practice and refinement.

- Working with different areas of the body
- Practice methodologies

Here we move beyond the tattoo itself and into the sacred container that surrounds it.

This is the threshold where the apprentice becomes the Priestess.
No longer simply learning techniques, but embodying the work as a way of being. Standing in devotion to your craft, your intuition and your unique medicine, you emerge ready to hold others through their own rites of passage with confidence, integrity and presence.
This final phase is about integration.
Gathering every lesson, every challenge, every ceremony and every tattoo into a practice that feels wholly your own.
